WINERIES ÁLVAREZ ALFARO. CENTENARY FAMILY TRADITION IN THE WINES OF RIOJA .

It was in 1890 when Pablo Álvarez Alfaro built his first winery. It is currently the fourth generation which is dedicated to oenology and viticulture creating in 1999 Wineries and Álvarez Alfaro vineyards. Alvarez Alfaro winery is located in Aldeanueva de Ebro (La Rioja) at 338 meters altitude above sea level. It has a mild climate without a dry season and mild summer. Its proximity to the Ebro River helps to soften the weather. The average temperature is around at 12.1 ° C. In winter temperatures of 1.4ºC are reached while in summer the thermometers reach temperatures that are around 28.8ºC. Precipitation annual averages are 529 mm.
